It's waterfall season in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and around Lake Tahoe as the snowpack melts creating beautiful waterfalls here at Cascade Lake and the Cascade Falls above Lake Tahoe near Emerald Bay. The 2 mile out and back hike will take you to the falls you see here. A great hike Paul Altrocchi and I did last week with a number of waterfalls flowing good around the Tahoe Basin and Sierra Nevada Mountains.
