Feb 25, 2024 · I just assumed this noise was par for the course until a family member installed a Fireplace Xtrorndinair. The blower is exterior to the fireplace and mounted outside the house. The fireplace makes insane amounts of heat and has zero blower noise. Wow. Does anyone know of a kit or mod to move a 7100FP blower to the outside of the unit? Thank you.

It has a good size fireplace 33wx27hx24deep with some tubes that run through the back and top of it, to blow air out the top, via some cutouts in the fireplace facia. It has 2 small fans, one on each side, on the bottom of the fireplace.

Up until two days ago I used the blower all the time when the stove was going. My thinking was I wanted to get every last BTU out of the stove to heat the house.

Inserts with blowers - plug 'em in or direct wire?
