The last day I saw that I had 16GB of free space in my C drive, but when I opened my pc the next day I saw only 2GB of free space was left in my C drive. I ran disk cleanup, but that was only able to free up some MBs. Also checked for viruses and killed two of them, but it didn't help.

Feb 13, 2021 · I suggest you reinstall OneDrive and then use the "Files On-Demand" to "Free up space" in OneDrive. You cannot free up OneDrive space at Settings > System > "Storage". You shouldn't delete files in OneDrive to free up local space. As the name suggests all your OneDrive space behaves as a single drive.

I purchased additional storage but there has been no change to the amount of storage shown above. My billing has been updated but I cannot access the newly purchased storage.
