Driving up from NY and through Hartford Connecticut on to Providence, where we plan to rest up before moving on up to Boston for a day or so, heading for Woodstock and Stowe, Shelburne and Burlington.

Boston is a great town to see, with lots of superb restaurants, clubs, museums and other sights. If you REALLY want to see VT, then stay in the extreme southern part of the state around Bennington or Brattleboro. It's a 3-4 hour drive from Boston or NYC to Bennington though.

We're currently planning a trip to New York and New England for around 12 days in late October/early November. Ideally, this would include 3/4 days in New York, at least 2 days in Boston, a couple of stops in Maine and a little Vermont.

After planning a packed visit to New York, with all its museums, restaurants, and Broadway shows, take a road trip to Vermont and New Hampshire to really enjoy one of America’s most beautiful spots.
