Vancouver police said Monday they now believe the fatal shooting early Saturday morning in southeast Vancouver was a random home invasion by vehicle prowlers in the neighborhood.

Three people were killed, four were injured and nine others are missing after a small boat overturned early Monday in high surf off San Diego’s coast.
