At the start of training camp in Boston, it was confirmed that Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman would not attend until he signs a new contract. On Wednesday, general manager Don Sweeney announced that the netminder will not be on the ice until a contract is finalized, only adding that he’s optimistic they’ll get him signed before Dec 1.

Swayman remembers every slight, doesn’t care for critique and has a long memory. That won't make for an easy settlement for the Bruins.
