With winter weather forecasted for Jan. 9 and 10, some Central Texas school districts have announced closures or delays.

District leaders say they typically decide by 8 p.m. the night before if they expect classes to be impacted the next day. In rare cases, they could wait until 5 a.m. the day of. The district says they will notify the community of any changes to the school day or activities through social media, phone, email, and text.
