Four people are facing charges of capital murder just over a month after a man was found dead in Far Northeast Dallas, police said Wednesday.

DALLAS — A man turned himself in to police for the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Dallas ISD student last week, officials say. Rashad Mayes, 22, turned himself in Thursday in connection with the shooting of Lincoln High School student Demaryae Dequan Hill-Young, 17, Sept. 14, police say.
