Amazon’s Prime Video app just got a big update on Apple TV. The app is now better optimized for tvOS, allowing you to swipe on the Siri Remote to scroll through Prime Video’s shows and movies as well as use touchpad gestures for fast-forwarding, rewinding, and scrubbing through content.

It's a busy week for Apple TV, not only do we now have a native app for Android – something that's taken years to arrive – but the Prime Video app for the set-top-box has been given a much-needed refresh.

The latest version of the Amazon Prime Video app is now on Apple TV devices with a bunch of key upgrades to deliver “an improved streaming experience”. It will be available on all Apple TV devices globally, including the original Apple TV HD and the latest iteration of the Apple TV 4K.

Prime Video just launched a big app update for Apple TV users that should make the app feel more tvOS-native than before.
