Thibodeau and the Knicks have sent a brutal message to Hart following his "ego"comments. And while it can simply be chalked up as a harmless little comment from an outspoken player, New York has made it clear they expect more from one of their leaders.

In the eyes of Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart, Thibodeau should not be criticized for one of his most notable — or infamous, depending on the perspective — philosophies.

“We're losing games I feel like we shouldn't be losing,” Knicks player Josh Hart said, per ESPN. “We've got to start figuring it out. We're halfway through. There's nothing we can do about the first half now. But if we want to be the team we're trying to be at the end of the season, we need to start correcting stuff now.”
