A local King Soopers gas station has opened back up after the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said the gas station would remain closed for an extended period of time for a shooting investigation.

Colorado Springs Police said one person was dead after a shooting on Monday evening. Around 4:39 p.m. police received a call about a shooting in the parking lot of King Soopers off of Stetson Hills Boulevard.
