Gemini, which was named Bard up until earlier this year, officially landed as a standalone app on Android back in February. Now, only a few days after a stray report about a dedicated Gemini app landing on iOS did the rounds, the Mountain View, California-based tech giant has officially confirmed its launch.

The app gives iOS users direct access to Gemini, which was previously accessible only by navigating through the main Google app or a web browser.

Google may be getting ready to release a standalone Gemini app for iOS, allowing users to access Gemini Live from their Apple devices.

Months after launching the Gemini AI app for Android, Google has rolled out the app for iPhones. Google CEO Sundar Pichai made the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter. He wrote, “The Gemini app is now on iPhone, including Gemini Live in 13 languages (more to come). It’s available in the App Store starting today.”
