Search for survivors has ended after the magnitude 7.1 earthquake in Tibet killed at least 126 and wounded dozens.

Tremors were also felt in Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, as well as Bhutan and northern India. China says about 1,500 fire and rescue workers have been deployed to search for people in the rubble.

The epicentre was around 80 km north of Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain and a popular destination for climbers and trekkers.
