Fox network’s flagship panel show blasted former first lady Laura Bush for snubbing President-elect Donald Trump at Jimmy Carter’s funeral. During Carter’s funeral on Thursday, Bush was seen declining to shake Trump’s hand as he passed her in the aisles.

The planned absence Monday follows another notable absence last week at the state funeral of former president Jimmy Carter.

Former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will come together again next week for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, but one spouse, Michelle Obama, is sitting this one out.

Former Presidents Obama, Bush, and Clinton will skip the traditional inaugural luncheon for President-elect Trump, though they plan to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Michelle Obama will also be absent.

Pictures shared on social media by the vice president and by the Carter Center prominently showed other past presidents in attendance.

It is unusual for five current and former presidents to gather at the same event, but when it happens, it is often at a funeral.
