For nearly two decades, the SEC has dominated college football. Since 2005, the SEC has won 13 national championships. However, for only the second time since 2005, they have been shut out in back-to-back seasons.

Bret Bielema has not been afraid to voice his opinions on social media as of late, and on Tuesday night, Jim Harbaugh was his target. Bieleme quoted a video that was posted of Harbaugh when he was the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. In the video, Harbaugh says “If you cheat to win, then you've already lost.”

Finebaum said Notre Dame must play a near-flawless game to have a shot at an upset win. Given the way the Buckeyes dominated Tennessee and Oregon in their first two playoff games, he could see the championship game similarly. Finebaum added that the pressure on Ohio State coach Ryan Day couldn't be more immense.

Notre Dame is dealing with some injuries entering the game. Defensive tackle Rylie Mills suffered a season-endng knee injury and two of their starting offensive linemen, including All-American Anthonie Knapp, are banged up entering this game.

To add insult to injury, not only did Finebaum expose the SEC, but he also tipped his cap to Ohio State coach Ryan Day. Finebaum had long been critical of Day's lack of success against Michigan but gave him the benefit of the doubt after leading the Buckeyes to their first title win in a decade.
