A man has been airlifted to hospital in Belfast after he and his father were attacked at a house in Lifford, County Donegal, near the border with Northern Ireland. Gardaí (Irish police) said the assault happened on the Coneyburrow Road at about 10:00 local time on Monday.
A 13-year-old boy is in hospital after falling off an electric scooter in Co Donegal on Monday evening. He is understood to be in a serious condition.
