Yoshinori Kitase clearly has high hopes for the response to the next game

Square Enix devs are confident the concluding chapter in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series will satisfy fans regarding the game's story.

The producer of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy has assured players that the third part won’t be exclusive to PlayStation 6. The first part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake was initially a PS4 exclusive, before coming to PS5 and PC more than a year later.

According to series producer Yoshinori Kitase, you won't need a PS6 to play the final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy.

Kitase added Rebirth creative director Tetsuya Nomura was given "homework" to give the remake project a conclusion that both respected the original Final Fantasy 7 and provided a new sense of satisfaction not felt in the original. This was completed by the end of 2024.
