Now Moore is leading the charge in Ann Arbor and will be entering his second year after an 8-5 campaign which ended strongly with wins over eventual national champion Ohio State and College Football Playoff hopeful Alabama.

Michigan Football head coach Sherrone Moore spent some time in Hawaii visiting with Malakai Lee, the top prospect from the state.

Although Michigan began the year as a top-15 team and finished unranked, its three-game win streak to close the season earned Moore a high mark from CBS Sports. The network graded all first-year Power Four head coaches, and Moore was among the best, receiving a B+.

Sherrone Moore’s debut season went up a grade in the end for ESPN’s Greg McElroy as he evaluated the 2024 campaign as a whole.

Two starters, left tackle Myles Hinton and left guard Josh Priebe, are off to the NFL, while five other linemen transferred. That includes three with minimal starting experience in center Dominick Giudice and tackles Andrew Gentry and Jeff Persi.
