The Kansas City Chiefs are 15-1 heading into Week 18, have clinched the top seed in the AFC and once again look like a team poised to win a Super Bowl thanks to a suffocating defense and just enough offense behind franchise cornerstone Patrick Mahomes.

For the first time in the past seven seasons, Mahomes was left off the Pro Bowl roster. The AFC will be represented at the 2025 Pro Bowl Games by the Buffalo Bills ' Josh Allen, the Cincinnati Bengals ' Joe Burrow and the Baltimore Ravens ' Lamar Jackson at the quarterback position. Allen was chosen as the starter.

Nine Baltimore Ravens, including two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, were selected for the Pro Bowl Games.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be resting some starters, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, head coach Andy Reid announced on Wednesday. Mahomes and others will sit out and Carson Wentz will start.
