A suburban Chicago house made famous by the movie Home Alone was sold for $5.5 million in a rare deal that closed above the asking price.

The north suburban home from "Home Alone," located at 671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, sold for $5.5 million, $250,000 above its asking price. The 9,126-square-foot home, built in 1921 and renovated in 2018, includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, sports court, wet bar, movie theater, and more.
