As the Portland Trail Blazers get ready to take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, they will be doing so without center Donovan Clingan. Clingan suffered an ankle injury and will be re-evaluated in about one week to see if he can return to the court.

Donovan Clingan is averaging 5.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on 53.7% shooting from the field in 31 games with the Trail Blazers.

Portland Trail Blazers rookie center Donovan Clingan left Tuesday night’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets late in the fourth quarter with a left ankle injury. Clingan came down awkwardly and went to the ground after attempting to block a shot with 1:15 remaining in the Blazers' 132-114 loss to the Nets at the Moda Center.
