Bill Belichick hasn't been the head coach of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels for even a month and already rumors are going around about NFL teams checking to see if the coach would be interested at all in making a move back to the professional ranks.

On Wednesday, one day after the Raiders parted ways with Antonio Pierce following his first full season as the team’s head coach, NFL.com reported Tom Brady — now a minority owner of the Las Vegas franchise — had spoken “recently” with Belichick “about what it would take to make a reunion happen.”

As Bill Belichick travels from city to city recruiting for UNC football, his contract status remains a source of speculation that he may leave for the NFL before coaching the Tar Heels.
