Kirk Herbstreit will commence another busy work week with a heavy heart. The broadcaster's dog, Ben, died of cancer last week. Herbstreit and the college football community mourned the loss of a beloved golden retriever who routinely accompanied Herbstreit across the country on Thursday Night

The emotional tribute video contained videos and pictures of Herbstreit, 55, and Ben traveling in hotel rooms and Ben making appearances on ESPN and at college games over the years. He shared that he “first started bringing Ben on the road” with him for support.
