ELMHURST, IL – A 2-year-old corn dog restaurant chain that started in Glenview is planning a downtown Elmhurst location. Kong Dog is set for 113 E. Schiller St., where a Subway once was.

When we decided to relocate, it was imperative to find a more accessible and inviting storefront space in the heart of downtown Elmhurst that was highly visible and close to the train station.

As part of a long-range vision to enhance safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists across Hinsdale, village officials are poised to start the process by evaluating the central business district.
