The final day of filming can certainly be filled with a mix of emotions, and it sounds like Blue Bloods was no different, especially since the series wasn’t officially wrapped when Cariou shot his last scene. However, there was still a job to do and more to work on, so in a sense, this last day felt like any other day.

CBS set a date for the series finale of BLUE BLOODS while also announcing a special retrospective special of the show set to help

Blue Bloods is nearing its end now that fans finally have a series finale air date. CBS announced that Blue Bloods will end on Friday, December 13, after nearly 300 episodes. Before fans say goodbye to the show,

"Blue Bloods" will wrap its 14-year run on Dec. 13, CBS announced Wednesday. In addition, the network will air a series retrospective on Nov. 29 (WCBS/2 at 9 p.m.).

Celebrating a Family Legacy' will be available for streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime, where fans can watch it live or on-demand. For those with the Paramount+ Essential plan, the special will be accessible the day after it airs.

We know when Blue Bloods airs its final episode and it's going to be a big celebration for fans! It does seem sad that Blue Bloods will air its final episode this year. One would hope it could have continued to at least hit 300 episodes.
