NSW Police investigate whether criminals involved in some of Sydney’s anti-Semitic attacks were hired by an underworld network in exchange for payment.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has visited a daycare centre that was firebombed and scrawled with graffiti in the latest suspected anti-Semitic attack in Sydney.

A Sydney, Australia childcare center was set on fire and vandalized with anti-Semitic graffiti on Tuesday morning, in the second such incident in four days. The attack took place around 1:00am local time in the city's east, near a Jewish school and synagogue.

Criminals who have committed anti-Semitic attacks in Sydney and Melbourne may have been paid by “overseas actors or individuals”, Australian Federal Police have revealed. The AFP is currently probing 15 serious attacks since December, including a childcare centre in Sydney’s south.

A western Sydney woman has been charged over her alleged involvement in an anti-Semitic attack in Woollahra last month where three buildings were graffitied and a stolen car was set alight.

A childcare centre at Maroubra in Sydney's south-east has been set alight and spray painted with anti-Semitic graffiti. The building is a short distance away from the Maroubra Synagogue on Anzac Parade.
