Palworld developer Pocket Pair is partnering with Surgent Studios to create a brand new horror game for players.

Zau, is partnering with Pocketpair Publishing, the newly founded publishing wing of Pocketpair (Palworld, Craftopia) to create a horror game for release in 2025. Surgent continues conversations with potential partners around Project Uso (revealed in October 2024) and other projects set in the Tales of Kenzera universe.

Palworld company Pocketpair Inc is started a new publishing label, and its first release will be a horror game from the studio behind Tales of Kenzera: Zau.

Pocketpair is getting into the games publishing business. The company has announced that it’s taking the gobs of money it made after launching Palworld, the Steam-record busting, 15-million-copies-sold-in-its-first-month, monster-catching adventure game, to establish Pocketpair Publishing.

Pocketpair, the company behind smash hit Palworld, announced that it’s entering the publishing business with a new division called Pocketpair Publishing. “This business will support game development through funding, development assistance and publishing for indie game developers and studios,” Pocketpair said in a news release.

Palworld developer Pocketpair has just announced a new publishing business, and with it, its first project – a mysterious horror game from Surgent Studios, the developer of last year's Metroidvania title Tales of Kenzera: ZAU.

Pocketpair Publishing was just unveiled by the creators of Palworld and Craftopia, with a pledge to help bring us more fun indie games.
