Bridgefield Capital, a private investment firm specializing in corporate carve-outs and special situations, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Philips Emergency Care Business from Royal Philips N.

The deal includes a licensing agreement that allows the sold business to use the Philips brand for up to 15 years.
