Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser is coming off the strongest season of his NHL career to date — and, with less than a year remaining on his current contract, the 27-year-old winger has put himself in a good position to earn a substantial pay increase.

In a sitdown interview with Sportsnet during the Canucks’ Young Stars tournament in Penticton, B.C., on the weekend, Allvin said he sees no signs of complacency from players about last season’s success.

On the heels of an interview with Thomas Drance in which he said he wants Boeser to become “even more consistent” in 2024-25, Allvin admitted to MacIntyre that the Canucks will have to make a decision on how to handle the 27-year-old winger before the 2025 trade deadline.
