Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard will not play for Norway in its upcoming Nations League matches so he can continue his rehabilitation after two months out injured.

Odegaard was initially left out of Norway's squad for matches against Slovenia on 14 November and Kazakhstan three days later but he travelled to Oslo to be assessed by the medica

Norway will be without captain Martin Odegaard for their Nations League matches against Slovenia and Kazakhstan as the Arsenal midfielder needs time to get match fit after recovering from an ankle injury,

Following his domestic return, Odegaard was named in the Norway squad for their fixtures with Slovenia and Kazakhstan in the UEFA Nations League, but following further assessment, he will be heading back to North London to complete his rehabilitation there.
