Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter went off about a scoreboard issue that led to them being upset by Ohio State.

The Boilers blew a 16-point in an eventual 73-70 loss when it couldn't stop Ohio State's runs. It must stop one of a different kind before it starts.

Not because Purdue basketball lost Tuesday night, an unexpected albeit realistic outcome. But because the Boilermakers have another game this week against another team capable of beating them. One of Purdue's lesser talked about quality traits during its Final Four season a year ago was learning as much from the wins as it did the losses.
