With the public and media both questioning the decision, those in charge of making it within the Kings' front office have gone conspicuously quiet. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Kings' top brass has flat-out refused to face local media, who have understandably been seeking clarity since last Friday's firing.

The Sacramento Kings sent shockwaves throughout the NBA when they fired head coach Mike Brown on Friday after less than three seasons with the team.
