What do we know about the character of Lobo, outside of the fact that he looks a lot like Jason Momoa? Well, he’s been part of the DC Comics lore since 1983, and operates as an intergalactic bounty hunter.

The DC universe has cast another major role. Jason Momoa will debut as Lobo in 2026's Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

Craig Gillespie is directing the film, which also features Matthias Schoenaerts as villain Krem of the Yellow Hill and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle. Ana Nogueira (“The Vampire Diaries”) wrote the screenplay based on the run of DC comics by Tom King and Bilquis Evely.
