Hawley volleyball wins Class 2A state title
ST. PAUL — The Hawley volleyball team is a state champion. Hawley rebounded from a second-set loss to take two-straight sets and defeat Southwest Christian in four sets in the Class 2A state championship match on Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center. The Nuggets won 25-22, 20-25, 26-24, 25-22.

Winning a State Championship is not easy. After a full slate of regular season games, you must win your section and then defeat other teams that had the same challenge. When it is all said and done, only four Minnesota volleyball teams out of the over 200 schools get to call themselves state champions.
