Amazon Web Services and the venture capital firm General Catalyst launched a new multiyear agreement on Monday, marking their latest attempt to gain a share of the expanding artificial intelligence market in the healthcare industry.

The companies will partner with healthcare organisations to improve their data strategies with cloud migrations and technologies.

General Catalyst's portfolio companies, starting with Aidoc and Commure, will use AWS' services to build new artificial intelligence solutions.
