BMW pulled a surprise at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo with the launch of the iX1 LWB since it is a long wheelbase version of its hot selling X1 while equally important is the fact that it is a locally assembled electric BMW at a competitive price.

BMW launched two new models in India. On the first day, the new iX1 long wheelbase was launched at Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a wheelbase of 2,800 mm with up to 531 km range. The next day, it introduced the new X3 at Rs 75.80 lakh for petrol and 77.80 lakh for diesel (ex-showroom).
