Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon makes history, Scott Wedgewood shuts down Blackhawks
Nathan MacKinnon became the 100th player in NHL history to reach 1,000 career points, and the Avalanche finished off a perfect six-game homestand with a 3-0 victory Monday night against the Chicago Blackhawks. Scott Wedgewood was brilliant in net, making 21 saves for his second shutout of the season.
