Not at all. 95% of the time the wind is coming off the water so the beach air smells like the ocean

Get there before 7ish, unfortunately kids like to destroy them before the tide does. Enjoy! It is a VERY busy day there!!

Clams can be dug here ,late summer is best time ,about 5 minutes away sit the " clam flats" which is a better place to dig.
